I think you made the right decision by giving up your baby for adoption. Although it must have been extremely hard I hope you know how amazing you made that kid’s life because of it. I know sometimes it probably seemed like having an abortion was the easier way out because you could have avoided all the judgmental looks and behind the back gossip but you and your baby would have missed out on so many amazing opportunities if you would went through with the abortion. You not only matured enough to realize your feelings for Bleek were real, and got to find happiness in love, but you also matured overall as a person. Anything that comes your way from now on you will be able to beat it down and keep moving in the right direction. You not only helped yourself in this situation you helped your baby and another women. This women is not only a woman now, she is a mother. Because of you, Vanessa gets to wake up everyday grateful for all she has. You helped her find full happiness and that’s not an easy thing to do. Abortion is a sad subject for me. No matter what the situation it breaks my heart that a child doesn’t even have the chance at a single day of life. I love babies so much that I don’t think I would ever abort a child of mine, even if it meant me dying and the child surviving…I understand that this is the scenario in some cases and for me that situation is the only one I understand why a mother would want to abort their child but for any other reasons I just don’t get it. Everyone has their own problems and bringing a newborn baby into your home might make those problems get worse but you have the option to have the baby and not bring it into your home but into someone else’s. There are many good women in this world trying so hard to be a mother and no matter how hard they try or how much money they have, they won’t be able to bring a baby into this world based on science and doctors but because of people like Juno they can bring a baby into their lives based off of the miracle of adoption.
I have such strong feelings against abortion and I don’t mean to offend people who are for abortion but abortion is killing a baby. It doesn’t matter if you give me all the facts about how it’s not a baby until blah blah blah weeks, the truth is that if you get pregnant and no serious complications happen during the pregnancy, you will have a baby. It’s not going to come out as some scientific cells or that stuff, it’s going to come out as a baby. That is the truth, so when you have an abortion you are preventing a baby from being born and when you kill a person you are preventing that person to live again. I know there is differences between murder and abortion but when you are looking at the big picture of both of them, they have the same outcome. I understand that someone might have raped you but you shouldn’t let that keep you from bringing a life into this world. If you really wouldn’t be able to stand being reminded of that horrible event everyday through your child’s face then give it up for adoption, give it a chance to live and to become a better person then that rapist was to you.
Based on what I said so far and what my opinion is toward abortion this next part might shock you. Although I hate abortion so much, I am against making it illegal. I am against taking another woman’s rights. There are some women who feel so desperate with abortion that they will put their life in serious danger in order to abort their child. Making abortion legal helps it get done in a correct, healthy way that causes only one death instead of two. A lot of women don’t take abortion lightly, that’s why I want to keep it legal because if someone thought through all their options and they still believe abortion is the best way to go, then it must be the best way to go for them. If someone truly believes that a baby will be better off dead than on this earth with them or somebody else, then they must have an ok reason for an abortion.
In conclusion I think abortion is an awful thing and I would never do it but I wouldn’t want somebody to kill their baby and their self because they don’t have the access to a place that can perform the abortion correctly. I’m not trying to double the death rate in american. We should be able to keep our rights instead of them being locked up.
